The Eaton FAZ-C16/2 is a 2-pole C-curve miniature circuit breaker / supplementary protector rated 16 A, 15 kAIC, designed for resistive or slightly inductive loads where medium inrush currents are expected. Current-limiting design interrupts fault currents within one half cycle, reducing let-through energy. Trip-free design (cannot be defeated by holding the handle ON), contact position indicator, sealing of the toggle in ON or OFF, instantaneous trip 5-10x rated current. DIN rail mounting, box lugs for 18-6 AWG (1 wire). Common trip ensures simultaneous disconnection of both poles. Field-installable shunt trip and auxiliary switches available.
